An Instagram account with”Subaru Rocks” as the name “Subaru Rocks” uploaded an image. Then, a number of memes account published the photo and named it the cat. In the days following many other accounts also published memes in their stories as well as posts to the Facebook or Twitter accounts.
The cat who appears in the video had later found to be from Tiktok. After a thorough investigation, it had determined that the person who uploaded the video was Chinese. It had discovered that the Chinese person uploaded the video on their account Douyin (Chinese TikTok). But, he then deleted his account on the platform and was unable to be found.

On an unspecified and at unknown date at an unspecified time, a video had shown that showed the man stretching his arms and scrunching the male’s body Sphynx cat. On the 7th day of November 2021, Redditor Odd Ad-8224 had believed to have discovered an animal’s identification in Bingus.
The video’s first clip well-known is an Instagram post by subarusocks, on the 22nd of March (shown in the following). The post had viewed by over 1,600 hits within just seven months. The following day Instagram Big_Chungles, a user on Instagram, republished the post and saw more than 27,000 people watch it over the same period of time. The cat had named “Bingus” as early as the 9th day of June. There were many comments on big_chungles’ post and containing the phrase “hi Bingus!.

His popularity skyrocketed after September 8th, 2020, when Redditor haydongers posted an image of Bingu with the title “AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH. hi bingus…”. The post had viewed by over 2800 people and received 112 comments as well as being awarded numerous Reddit prizes over the course of a month. Screenshots of the post became viral on other forums shortly following.
